About us
Stones Designs was a company started by two sisters with a love for good design. We realised the need for quality stone mats in New Zealand at a reasonable price. The business is a great way for them to balance family life and work, while designing gorgeous stone mats for people around New Zealand to enjoy.
We are sure you will love these mats as much as we do. All designs are original and are made from weatherproof acrylic fibres. This means the mats can be placed outdoors or indoors in a bathroom - the stones are all on anti-rot matting so will be safe in places where it will get wet. The stones are cut and rolled for 12 hours by a machine, then polished with water for another hour to get their superior smooth finish before being glued to the mats.

DEBI HAZELDENManager, web specialist and designer for Stones Designs. Debi is involved in the day to day running. With a background in computer science and design she brings her design skills to the table with the creation of the stone mats. Especially with the upcoming 2010 collection.
